Entertainment Centers and TV Stands
B&V Crafts specializes in the entertainment center. This item can
be made in any style, wood type and color/finish that the customer can imagine.
From simple to complex, the entertainment center serves a very specific
function, primarily to hide or enhance the television and sound system. The entertainment center allows the electronics and monitor to be
tucked away in a piece of fine furniture. The TV and stereo then become a
decorative piece. Our entertainment centers and TV stands can be any
size and shape. From a small unit for a 25" TV to a floor-to-ceiling,
wall-to-wall built-in. The choice is entirely up to you. Look over a few

Maple with Birds Eye Maple
Trim LCD Projection TV Stand
The
Dan T is a solid maple contemporary TV stand measuring 65"x22"x22" . The doors
and side panels are constructed of solid birds eye
maple. A solid 1" thick rock maple top completes the unit. The open center
section houses the middle channel speaker and the AV console while the custom
glass sections house auxiliary equipment. The customer provided the glass and
the special casters. The Dan T was ordered to support a 61" Samsung projection
TV and house the upscale electronics for the customer's media room. This unit

Solid Oak TV Stand
Built
in the style of the Veronica TV Stand, this solid oak unit measures in at 48"x24"x28". It features raised panel doors and ends and the top is inset with three
ceramic tile inserts. The left and right cabinets house pull out CD storage
drawers and the unit can provide room for up to 600 CDs. The center unit has
room for electronic components including a stereo, VCR, CD player and DVD
player. The unit is fabricated from solid white oak and colored with a custom
pigment stain.
Finished with a hand rubbed varnish/varethane blend, this TV stand is an elegant solution for a small TV/Stereo
set-up. It is available as shown for $675. Other

Solid Myrtle Wood TV Stand
The
Veronica is a 50"x24"x26" solid myrtle wood TV stand built in the traditional
style. It features raised panel doors and ends and the top is inset with three
ceramic tile inserts. The left and right cabinets house pull out CD storage
drawers and the unit can provide room for up to 600 CDs. The center unit has
room for electronic components including a stereo, VCR, CD player and DVD
player. Made out of native Oregon Myrtle Wood, the Veronica's color varies from
a cream to olive to dark chocolate brown. The grain patterns are stunning.
Finished with a hand rubbed varnish/varethane blend, the Veronica is an elegant
solution for a small TV/Stereo stand. Other

Solid Pine LCD Projection TV Stand
Commissioned by a Portland couple, "The Cooper" LCD projection TV stand is a solid
pine cabinet measuring 70" x 23" x 24". Constructed from solid knotty pine, the
Cooper was finished with a Golden Oak stain and a hand rubbed varnish and urethane blend clear coat. Solid
raised panels on the sides and front outer doors give an elegant look to the
unit and the two middle glass doors allow for the use of standard remote
controls without having to open the doors. Each cabinet section comes with two adjustable shelves. Other colors and wood types are available as well as custom

Solid Oak Entertainment Armoire
This piece was commissioned in Chicago. It is 78"x44"x26" and made from solid,
quarter-sawn red oak. The upper section
has pocket doors that retract, the TV area will fit a 36" television or a 42"
HDTV unit. The center drawer is on heavy-duty, 200 lb. sliders. The lower
section has two shelves and houses the cutout for the electrical and cable
hookups as well as a 6 plug power strip. The finish is hand rubbed, consisting
of 8 coats of a varnish/urethane blend clear coat which is rubbed out and then
waxed. Other options available include wrap around doors, different wood types
and color matching to the customer's specifications. Crown molding is

Solid Maple Entertainment Center - Corner Unit
This
unit was built for a couple that desired a smaller unit that fit into the corner
of their living room. It measures 68"x36"x30". It has pocket doors in the upper
section that will accommodate a 27" television with space for a
DVD/VCR/cable box. The lower section has two shelves. The entire unit is
constructed out of solid maple and was stained to match the customers mantle on
the opposite wall. This unit was not built into the wall. Rather, it was
constructed to fit the space and is totally free standing.
Solid Cherry Entertainment Center with Redwood Burl Door
Panels
A
large scale center for a client that wanted a wall-to-wall, ceiling-to-floor
built-in unit for their large screen television. Door panels as well as the
display area are redwood burl, with shelves that are custom ordered beveled glass. Built in speaker enclosures as well as
an integrated power
management center and inset lights complete the design. Solid cherry
